This Department is headed by a fully qualified Maintenance manager. The Department comprises of 34 staff.
This is a fully equipped and manned maintenance department which functions on a 24 hour basis which looks after not only breakdown of maintenance but undertakes a series of preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment functioning effectively and enhancing its life.
The Maintenance Department works towards the objective of being a service provider and anticipates all breakdown problems thus taking corrective action at the right time in order to keep all the equipment and machines and other ancillaries at optimum condition, thereby minimizing downtime and providing a safe and cost effective working environment.
The Maintenance Department looks after the following:
Generator, fire pumps, fire extinguishers, water treatment plants, sewerage system, boilers, chiller plants, fire pumps, cold and freezer rooms, installation and up keep of equipment etc. The aforementioned services are performed both at the Restaurant at the Terminal Building and the Flight Kitchen.
