SriLankan Catering who contributes to environmental conservation and anti-pollution was recognized for the excellence in green practice and strategy at the first ever National Green Awards Ceremony held on 24th  August 2011 under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the  BMICH in Colombo. The awards ceremony was organized by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA).
